One thing I have done already is to throw out lots of part used packets of seeds—some way out of date. So I will need to think what new seeds I will buy. I have reduced down the number of plants to be over wintered in the greenhouse, but what there is will need to be looked at from time to time. On good days it will be a chance to open up the windows—remembering to close for the night. There should not be any need for watering.
On a good day it could be an opportunity to wash out any pots or seed trays that were not done earlier.
As we get to the end of the month, the days will start to get longer and we can begin to look forward to the beginning of another gardening year. Trees will start to bud and the bulbs begin to show. All heralding the joys to come of what we can only hope will be a colourful spring. Writing this I feel happier already!
In the meantime can I wish all my readers a very pleasant and joyful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Tip for the month: Prepare your seed list.
